Good time for a tune-up
CedarWorks Swing Set Care and Maintenance Checklist: Even if the weather in your back yard has been relatively calm the past few months, it’s a good idea to make sure everything related to your swing set is still the way it’s supposed to be. Please make sure all the structural parts and connecting hardware are tight and secure. We’ll happily replace –for free– nuts, bolts, lag screws and swing hangers as well as bungies, gazebo flags and plastic caps. Also check the play surface under and around your set, especially the landing areas under swings and slides. Remove any rocks and debris that may be hazardous. If your kids have gotten taller during the winter, you can adjust the heights of your swings accordingly by simply fiddling with the 8-hooks on the ropes.
