More New Babies
It was not too long ago that I announced that CedarWorks was expecting a new arrival (see We’re Expecting). I am glad to say that much progress has been made since that announcement, and our late summer launch is still on target.
But this post is not about our babies. Nor is it about the now fully grown babies of our veteran Design Partner Dee Boehmer. Her three kids are all grown up and out on their own. No, this post is about the beautiful, young, delicious babies found in Dee’s greenhouse at this time of year.
Like most people here at CedarWorks, Dee’s life is much more interesting than just what happens during her workdays here with us. She and her husband Les Teed own and operate Green Arrow Farms, a hydroponic farm in Searsmont, Maine. And, in the same way that Dee has always been eager to share photos of her kids, she recently treated me to these great shots of the 2009 crop.
Even better than photos, all of us here at CedarWorks benefit from Dee’s hard work on the farm in a more direct way. From time to time, Dee will arrive at work with a box full of those tomatoes or cucumbers or what-have-you that don’t look just right, but are still super-yummy. Then, she lets us have at it.
Thanks, Dee. Keep the photos (and the goodies!) coming.
