We're huge fans of Northern White Cedar. It's splinter-free and it requires no chemicals or additives so it's safe to use and safe to dispose of at the end of the life of your playset. It's also sustainable, and to help ensure that we'll have this valuable species in the future, we've instituted a re-cedaring program. We give a seedling to every family that purchases a playset, and we donate thousands of seedlings every year to small woodlot owners and environmental groups. Whether you buy one of our more traditional Revelry playsets, such as the Revelry Climber 2 playset, or one of our more fanciful Serendipity playsets, such as the Serendipity 4 playset, you will get a seedling. To date, 400,000 seedlings have been planted. Guess you could call us Johnny Cedarseed.
