CedarWorks donates playsets to foster families across the U.S.

Play It Forward program partners with National Foster Parent Association

September 20, 2016

CedarWorks is pleased to announce it has awarded playsets to six foster families in 2016 through its charitable program, Play It Forward.

"When we developed the Play It Forward program, we were looking for a way to help families who go above and beyond in helping children, so we are thrilled to have the opportunity to recognize six outstanding families this year," stated Barrett Brown, CedarWorks owner and president. Through Play It Forward, CedarWorks has partnered with the National Foster Parent Association to award playsets to foster families. "These are all families who work incredibly hard to create happy homes for children who face many obstacles," said Brown. "CedarWorks is honored to be a part of that."

In 2016, CedarWorks reviewed numerous applications and selected six deserving families to receive playsets. These families represent different regions of the country from Georgia to Colorado to Washington state. Between them, they have cared for dozens of children, dealing with a variety of challenges and needs with grace and determination.

As part of its commitment to creating a healthier world for children, CedarWorks donates 10% of its profits to organizations that benefit children and the environment. Play It Forward is one of three giving programs funded and administered by the playset company.
